The Bloomfield Parking Authority (BPA) was established in 2004 by the Township Council of Bloomfield.  The Township Council appointed a Board of Parking Commissioners to set policy for the agency and establish goals for the agency and its future.  
 

On a daily basis, the BPA manages, maintains and enforces all municipal parking, metered and permit, in the Township of Bloomfield.  We strive to improve the parking in Bloomfield so the community will be better served and enhanced by these achievements.

 

The offices of the BPA are closed for all major holidays which will be set forth in the Announcements section below as necessary. The schedule of holidays for the Bloomfield Parking Authority can be found under the News and Events page.

 
The Board of Commissioners of the BPA meets the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the BPA offices.  The Schedule of Meetings and can be found under the Meetings page.  Any changes to this schedule can be found under the Announcements section below.

Parking Machine Refund Stubs - Monday, April 21, 2014

Our office is currently processing refunds for the Parking Machines in Lackawanna Garage. In order to process your refund you need to bring your refund stub to our offices at 230 Broad Street, hours of operation are Monday to Saturday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

 
Monthly Parking Permit Renewals for Lackawanna Garage - Thursday, April 17, 2014

ATTENTION PERMIT HOLDERS: Monthly parking permit renewals for the Lackawanna Garage will be processed in the following 3 ways:

1. Mail in your payment in form of a check addressed to the "Bloomfield Parking Authority" and include a self-addressed stamped envelope. (Deadline: one week prior to expiration date).

2. Phone in your payment using a credit card (Visa and MasterCard accepted) and there will be a postage fee of $.48 added to the transaction or you have the option of picking up your permit at our office at your earliest convenience. (Deadline: mailing permit one week prior to expiration date and picking up permit  by expiration date).   

3. In person renewal, office hours are Monday to Saturday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, unless otherwise announced refer to our holiday schedule under the News & Events page. Forms of payment accepted are exact cash, money order, check or credit card (Visa and MasterCard accepted). (Deadline: parking permit expiration date).   

Permit Renewals must be completed by the last day of the month the latest. Please note, parking permit holders are responsible for renewing their permit before the expiration date. 

 
Enforcement in Permit Parking Lots - Saturday, April 12, 2014

Public Notice: Permit Parking will be enforced from Monday to Saturday in all parking permit lots. Display Parking Permit in order to avoid a Violation Summons.
