PERMITS:

The BPA offers several types of permits to park in the municipal parking lots in the designated permit spaces. These permits are priced according to demand and usage for each location.  Please check the specific information for the permit you need.

Business Permits - for business owners and their employees in the township who must park within the vicinity of their business all day.

 All business permits are issued are a first come first serve basis.  If a permit is not available for the desired lot you wish, we will keep your name on a database and issue permits in the order it was established.  We make every effort to get permits for those businesses waiting as soon as reasonably possible.


Resident Commuter Permits – for those Bloomfield residents who commute to work by train and must park their car all day within walking distance of the available train stations within Bloomfield.

All resident commuter permits are issued from a waiting list established for each lot in the order they were received.   If you wish to be entered on the waiting list for either or both lots, please download the Resident Waiting List Entry Form under the Forms page and return to the BPA offices at your convenience. 

Note:  All residents purchasing such a permit are required to provide two proofs of current residency and a copy of their valid vehicle registration, as per the application instructions, at each and every renewal of their permit.  

Resident Permits – for those Bloomfield residents who reside in apartments/homes that offer no on-site parking.

All residents applying for permits in the Farrand St. Lot and Myrtle St. Lot must be entered on the Resident Waiting List as per noted in the Resident Commuter Permit section.  Please download the Resident Waiting List Entry Form under the Forms page of this website and return to the BPA offices at your convenience.

Non-Resident Commuter Permits - a limited number of permits are available for commuters who live out of town and wish to park their cars near the available train stations within Bloomfield.
